PERFORMANCE NUMBERS

Ford Ranger EcoBoost

When popping the hood, you will see it retains the same engine as other trim levels, sporting a 2.3L four-cylinder engine producing 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The 0-60 mph time is unexpectedly healthy with a time of 6.5 seconds. The Tremor’s 7,500-pound towing capacity will remain the same, but the payload is affected by just 130 pounds down to 1,430. Combined mpg will fall in at an estimated 19 mpg which is quite acceptable with larger, upgraded tires.
